Moorhouse History

This site is my way of sharing some of my family history research with family and friends.

The research was started by my Grandfather William Edward (Ted) Moorhouse, and I would like to dedicate my work to him, and also my Father John Leo Moorhouse.

You will find extensive information about William Moorhouse and his descendants and ancestors, particularly Baldisaro Porri my great, great Grandfather.

I would like to thank my Uncles Bernard, David and Gerald Moorhouse and my many cousins and second cousins who have helped to contribute information.  I would particularly like to thank my third cousin Tom Fattorini for his information on Baldisaro Porri - our shared ancestor.  I would also like to give my husband, Miles, the credit for the technical side of the website - his first attempt, not bad!
